Another amazing free concert at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar with fellow Rotarians and Pickleball pals.
This time an Eagles cover band called Desperado stoled the show on the beach tonight.
Not a bad way to kill a Tuesday night.

San Diego State University Aztec Xander Schauffele wins the British Open yesterday after winning the PGA Championship two months ago with a 21 under par.
On to the Paris Olympics to defend his gold medal from the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
Xander Schauffele is the first player to shoot 65 or lower in the final round to win a major twice in the same season. Jack Nicklaus is the only other golfer to accomplish the feat for his career.

Surfed Seaside late this afternoon then watched the College World Series final baseball game this evening in the RAM VAN at the beach.
Multitasking and being smarter with my time during a 3.5-hour baseball game is key.
I hope to have you join me beachin' it in Cardiff this summer to appreciate the epic warm weather.

Back in Cardiff for Father’s Day.
I really miss my dad as he went to Heaven over seven years ago.
Spent yesterday with Amara and Jed at the beach hanging out in the RAM VAN then dinner at Bestawan.
It was a day of rest, which was exactly what I needed.

One of the most satisfying days of my life as I just tonight made my final monthly payment to payoff Amara’s $300K college education at Loyola Marymount University.
I can’t think of a better investment of my money than towards a solid education for my only child.
So grateful to put this behind me as I started saving over 22 years ago when Amara was just one month old.
So thankful for you, Amara, to graduate with your degree in just four years unlike your dad’s six year run.
No forgiven loans in my world. 🥂🇺🇸

And then there was one!
It was a beautiful finish to the Rancho Santa Fe Pickleball club season.
Coach Stevie & Doug’s wishes from Italy was for us to crush them. Done!
Marty and Steve won the most important eighth game to seal the deal with a 11-0 pickle.
The winning point was a sideline Ace that Steven delivered as the final blow to send SantaLuz home.
11-4 Naughties 🏆

I have only been playing Pickleball for just over a year. The game is socially and strikingly fun and as aggressive as you want it to be.
I am playing on the Rancho Valencia Resort team as a member of Fairbanks Ranch CC.
We are undefeated and now play our tournament championship game at Rancho Valencia against Santaluz on Monday, June 3rd @ 5:30 PM.
We are the Rancho Valencia Naughties. Come check us out.

Congratulations to fellow San Diego State Aztec Alumni Xander Schauffe for winning his 1st golf major today in the 108th PGA Championship.
Xander broke an all time scoring record in any major golf championship with a score of 21 below par.
