Thank you for reaching out regarding my tax preparation fees. I understand you are looking for a specific quote, but I wanted to explain how my pricing works.

Because every tax situation is unique—with varying income levels and different federal and state requirements—it is difficult to provide an exact amount until I actually begin working on the return. Generally, I have seen fees range anywhere from $200.00 to $1,000.00 depending on the complexity of the filing.

Please allow me to complete the work first. Once the return is ready for your approval, I will let you know the final amount you will receive back along with the associated costs. My preparation and filing fees are taken directly "off the top" of your refund, meaning you do not have to pay me out of pocket (unless, of course, you’d like to take me out for a seafood dinner—just kidding!).

On a serious note, I look forward to handling this for you, and we can finalize the numbers at the end.
