More Thank you’s!
Now I need to recognize the volunteers of Cedar River Bash tournament.

-Chuck Britain and the Waverly area Kiwanis Club Jeremy Langner. Kiwanis was Intregal to our tournaments success this year. Between running concessions and the knowledge Chuck passed onto me on how to run a tournament; we could not have succeeded without them.

Without the baseball boys helping with field prep, we would have had to pay an outside entity thousands of dollars to maintain fields throughout the weekend. These boys donated over 200 hours of time to the cause over two days. The players were respectful, attentive and set a great example to the hundreds of youth athletes on how they can give back to their community.
Another shout out to Kiwanis Club for keeping the boys fed and hydrated, throughout the weekend.

-P&K Midwest Wes Wesley Sutton.
Wes and and management were generous to lend us Two Gators for our event. This allowed directors to get from one location to another in a timely manner, gather excess garbage from facilities, and give an occasional ride to little Go-Hawks that were at the field all day watching their brother!
P&K made my job 10x easier, and I couldn’t appreciate it more.

The work Greg did to prepare the facilities for this past weekend was incredible. I cannot tell you all the things he did to make this event go smoothly, only that he did an amazing job.
Thank you to the city for allowing this event to take place and assisting with any issues. Although the event wasnt perfect, I believe that we shouldn’t let perfection be the enemy of good and I appreciate you working with us.

These guys organized directors, got baseballs, marketing, city coordination, field prep/ maintenance, volunteer training, scheduling, etc. I am probably forgetting 10 other things they did. You will often see these gentlemen at the ball fields, because they are constantly donating their time. They would never ask to be thanked, but I will ask for them. We support over 800 young athletes through the club. Without the people I mentioned above, the club would not exist.

After an amazing weekend of baseball, I am finally able to express my gratitude for all that helped make the “Cedar River Bash” possible.
