We help people during those transitions, so that they can focus on what is most important to them." Kelly graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1990,
and is licensed to practice law in Iowa and Colorado. In addition to having a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree, Kelly is also a Certified Fund Specialist (C.F.S.). Kelly has also completed the General Securities (Series 7), General Securities Principal (Series 24), the Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63), and the Uniform Combined State Law (Series 66) exams. Kelly has previously been involved with numerous boards and civic organizations, including Rotary, the Linn County Board of Health, the Knox Presbyterian Church Board of Directors, the Steele Family Scholarship Foundation, the Cedar Rapids Adventurers Guild, and the Junior Cougars Girls Basketball Board of Directors. He is also very proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. Kelly lives in Iowa and Colorado. He enjoys participating in and attending sporting events, traveling, reading, coaching youth sports, and spending time with girlfriend, Jody, and his two daughters, Alana & Bella. A "bucket list" guy, Kelly enjoys achieving high personal goals. In the past few years, Kelly has skydived three times, climbed Pikes Peak seven times, climbed Mt. Rainier twice, did a winter climb of Mount Whitney, and has completed two Ironman Triathlons.
