Housh & Housh CPA’s, LLC is excited to welcome Hayden Newton to our team. Hayden is Certified Public Accountant licensed in Kansas. He grew up in Chanute and graduated from Chanute High School in 2022. He attended Kansas State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in May 2025 and a Master of Accountancy degree in May 2026.

For the past two and a half years, Hayden has worked as a tax accountant at a firm in Manhattan.

Hayden and his wife, Preston, have one son, Bennett. In their free time, they enjoy playing tennis, golfing, and attending K-State football games. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, whether that means lending a helping hand with his family’s small cattle operation or working in the yard.

Hayden and his family are excited to be back in Chanute, and he looks forward to working with our clients.

Hours for this position in tax season (Jan-Apr) are 8 am to 5 pm on Monday-Friday.
