Up next in our employee spotlight series:

Meet Arushi Rathod, an Operations Intern on our Investment team, and rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is pursuing degrees in Economics and Data Science. This past year, she helped establish the first Phi Chi Theta chapter in North Carolina at UNC, bringing a professional fraternity focused on business and economics to campus. When she's not working or studying, her ideal day involves exploring new places, taking photos, shopping or thrifting, and treating herself to a coffee or boba tea. Her favorite travel experience was a trip to Cancún, where she stayed at an all-inclusive resort, drove a jet ski for the first time, and immersed herself in the local culture. Arushi also loves bullet journaling and junk journaling, a creative hobby that combines memory-keeping with scrapbooking using receipts, maps, tickets, and other keepsakes collected along the way. One piece of advice she lives by is: “Say yes to opportunities, big or small, because they can open doors to growth, learning, and new experiences.” Looking ahead, she'd love to learn how to sew clothes from scratch and turn simple pieces of fabric into unique creations. And if you ever need a fun fact about her, Arushi can jump on a pogo stick more than 2,000 times without stopping—and even do it with no hands!

This week, we’re kicking off our employee spotlight series! We'll be spotlighting every member of our firm so you can get to know the people behind the work we do at Plancentric Financial Group.

Up first, meet Cameron Abaqueta!

Cam has been a valued member of our Financial Planning team as an intern since 2025, helping to develop the financial plans we present to clients. Cam enjoys collaborating with colleagues to help individuals and families prepare for their futures. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of Florida, with one year remaining until graduation. During his time at UF, he spent three years on the University of Florida Swimming Team, earning SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition and contributing to two SEC Championship victories. He is especially proud of his swimming career and the opportunities it has provided both athletically and professionally. His passion for endurance sports continues today. Earlier this year, Cam completed his first Half-Ironman in Panama City Beach (pictured) and is now preparing to compete in his first full Ironman in November. On his ideal day off, you'll find Cam playing 18 holes of golf in the morning before spending the afternoon wakesurfing on Lake Norman. Although he's a Charlotte-area native who lives in Davidson, he's a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan and was fortunate enough to attend Super Bowl LVIII, where he witnessed the Chiefs win back-to-back championships. Outside of work and athletics, Cam enjoys playing music—especially guitar, which he's been playing for more than four years. Next on his list? Learning the banjo. A dedicated dog lover, he shares his life with four dogs of four different breeds: Blitz, a German Shepherd; Konin, a Belgian Malinois; Panzer, a Dutch Shepherd; and W***y, a French Bulldog. And if there's ever a lull in conversation, Cam can always impress the crowd with his party trick: solving a Rubik's Cube.
