It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly five months since I lost my mom.

Her passing changed everything.

At the same time that I was helping my kids navigate their own seasons of change, I also stepped into a new role—caregiver and financial guide for my elderly father. It’s been one of the hardest transitions I’ve faced… but also one that has led me to something greater.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank my Facebook / Meta network—many of you have known me through different chapters of my career—for your support, encouragement, and grace during this time.

In the midst of grief, I’ve found purpose.

I’ve been quietly rebuilding from the ground up, and I’m excited to finally start sharing what’s ahead:

• A new book (actually… a series!) on financial healing, built for women and families who need more than just numbers—they need clarity, encouragement, and power
• A financial education brand called Smart Budget Finds, helping people connect to their money with confidence
• And the early stages of launching Tweed Factor, a values-driven financial advocacy and planning business focused on service, growth, and joy

This journey is deeply personal. It’s about more than financial literacy—it’s about financial dignity.

Thank you again to all of you who’ve stood by me, cheered me on, or simply reached out to say, “You’ve got this.” You may never know how much it meant.
