☀️ Good Morning!

Today, I want to talk about something that often gets pushed to the bottom of our to-do list: self-care.

Whether you’re a woman or a man, self-care is essential. We spend so much time taking care of our families, careers, businesses, ministries, and responsibilities that we sometimes forget to care for ourselves.

Self-care isn’t selfish. It’s necessary.

It can be as simple as taking a walk, reading a book, praying, journaling, getting enough rest, setting healthy boundaries, or taking a few moments to breathe and reflect.

I’ve learned that when we take care of ourselves, we are better equipped to show up for everyone else.

That’s one of the reasons I wrote She Who Rises: A Self-Care Journey to Wholeness. This book was created to encourage women to embrace healing, growth, reflection, and self-care on their journey to becoming the best version of themselves.
