That is so exciting. Great work!!
We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a highly competitive ETOD (Equitable Transit Oriented Development) grant from the City of Chicago! The ETOD initiative is intended to revitalize communities in underserved Chicago transit corridors.
It feels amazing to have our community and city back our movement, and we are so grateful to the City of Chicago for this award. We are one giant step closer to opening - it's really happening!
We’d also like to thank Alderwoman Maria Hadden's office for strongly advocating on our behalf and our team of volunteer grant writers, especially Owners Anna Sobon ( #997) and Helen Thompson ( #16).
It is an honor to be included alongside so many worthy community projects.
