Dear Valued Clients,
UPDATE : Thanks to Stan Rivas who aided me with the clarification of ‘Essential Businesses and Operations’
The Order states, “All Essential Businesses and Operations are encouraged to remain open… Nothing in this Executive Order shall prohibit any individual from performing or accessing Essential Governmental Functions.” Section 12(r) of the Executive Order defines “Essential Businesses and Operations,” to include: “Professional services, such as legal services, accounting services, insurance services, real estate services (including appraisal and title services).”
We will now be open effective immediately- by appointment only.

These are unusual times that we are living in today. The State of Illinois issued a statewide order for Illinois residents to stay at home. The order requires all residents to stay at home, unless traveling for essential needs, and requires businesses not engaged in essential activities to suspend all activities except for minimum basic operations.
The order will remain in place until April 7th. The order is effective as of Saturday, March 21st, 2020 at 5:00pm.
Having stated this, our office will be closed to the public beginning 21 March 2020 at 5:00 pm, and will resume ‘normal’ business hours when the stay-at-home order has been lifted.
Stay safe and remember you now have until 15 July 2020 to file and pay (if you owe).
