🎉 CLIENT SUCCESS STORY 🎉

This client’s tax account had a Code 570 dating back to August 2025.

After reviewing the transcript, I determined that an amended return was needed. The amendment was filed on May 26, and the IRS has now issued a refund date of July 17! 🙌🏽

Every tax situation is unique, and not every delayed refund requires an amendment. The key is understanding why your refund is being held before deciding on the next step.

If you’re dealing with a refund delay or confusing IRS transcript codes, send me a message. I’m currently offering complimentary transcript reviews, and if additional services are needed, I’ll discuss them with you before any work begins.

📩 Let’s get you some answers!

⚠️ Not every tax issue requires an amended return.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is people rushing to file an amendment before confirming it’s actually needed.

In some cases, the IRS may already be correcting the issue. In others, the solution may be as simple as responding to a notice or providing additional documentation.

📋 Before filing an amendment, make sure:
✔️ An error actually exists.
✔️ An amendment is the correct solution.
✔️ You’re not creating unnecessary delays to your refund or tax account.

If you’re unsure whether you need to amend your return, don’t guess. Have your tax situation reviewed first so you can make the right move the first time.

🚨 STOP! Before you throw that IRS letter in a drawer…

Did that envelope from the IRS make your heart drop? 😩📬

Take a deep breath. Not every IRS letter means you owe money or you’re being audited—but ignoring it can make things worse.

I’ve spoken with so many taxpayers who waited because they didn’t know what the letter meant or were afraid to open it. The good news? Many notices can be resolved once you understand exactly what the IRS is asking for.

💼 If you’ve received an IRS notice and don’t know what to do next, let’s take a look at it together. I’ll help you understand your options and point you in the right direction.

📩 Send me a message with your notice (be sure to cover or remove your Social Security number and any other sensitive personal information), and let’s work toward a solution.

Remember: The sooner you address an IRS notice, the more options you usually have.
