✈️ Traveling for business this summer? Your trip could come with tax-saving opportunities!

If your travel is primarily for business, expenses such as airfare, lodging, rideshares, rental cars, parking, and certain meals may be deductible. Just be sure to keep detailed records and document the business purpose of your trip.

💡 Tax Tip: If you're extending your business trip into a long weekend, certain travel expenses may still qualify as deductible, depending on your itinerary and business activities.

Because every situation is different, it's always a good idea to consult your tax professional before claiming travel-related deductions.

Tax reporting rules continue to evolve, and you may receive a Form 1099-DA from your broker if you've sold, exchanged, or otherwise disposed of digital assets.

Be sure to keep this form with your tax records—you'll need it to report those transactions when filing your return accurately.

📝 Need to amend your tax return? Mistakes happen.

Whether you forgot to report income, missed a deduction or credit, or received additional tax documents after filing, you may need to file an amended tax return.

The good news? The IRS provides a process for correcting many common filing errors.

Before submitting an amended return, it's important to understand:

✔ Whether an amendment is actually needed
✔ What information should be corrected
✔ How filing an amendment could affect your taxes

If you're unsure whether you should amend a previously filed return, we're happy to help review your situation and provide guidance.
