The end of the year is approaching fast, and now is the time to start setting yourself up for a stress-free tax season! A little organization before the ball drops can mean faster filing and more tax-saving opportunities later.

At Reed's Tax Service, we’re getting ready behind the scenes, and we want to share four simple steps you can take today to beat the January rush.

🗓️ Your Quick End-of-Year Tax Checklist:

Finalize 2025 Records. Gather all income records, expense receipts, charitable donation receipts, and statements for the year. The goal is to have all 2025 data finalized before 2026 begins!

Consolidate Everything. Create one secure, central folder (digital or physical) for all your 2025 tax documents. No more searching under the couch for that one receipt!

Note Major Life Changes. Did you buy a house? Start a side business? Get married or divorced? Have a baby? Make a quick list of any major financial or personal changes so we can account for them accurately.
