During last week's Federal Reserve meeting, a few things were expected: a steady rate hold, heightening inflation risks prompted by geopolitical tensions with Iran, and Kevin Warsh’s nomination for Fed Chair advancing to the Senate Banking Committee. Yet, in a rare move, current chair Jerome Powell shared that he will see out the remainder of his term and resume his time on the Fed board as governor.

Our chief economist, Brandon Zureick, shared his insights leading up to the meeting and takeaways from Powell’s final speech as chair with Kiplinger's Karee Venema.

Chief Investment Officer Charles Rinehart shared his insights with MarketWatch’s Christine Ji on how he sees AI demand and the leadership change shaping the choice to let go of Apple’s long-held goal to be net-cash neutral.
