Cool thing happening tonight at 5 at the Clarinda Regional Health Center in meeting rooms A and B! There will be a free seminar with information from myself, an investment professional and an attorney. We will cover some of the basics for managing investments, planning for retirement and death, and tax guidelines. It is scheduled to last about an hour and we will all be available to answer questions. Did I mention it's free? See you there!

It is 1099 season! Don't forget 1099's are required for most payments over $600 for rent or labor or a number of other items. Call me if you need help making sure you comply.

The Tax Extender Bill has passed in the Senate, so all that is left is a signature by the President. This bill extends the $500,000 Section 179 expense election for 2014, as well as the bonus depreciation for new assets. Contact me if you have any questions about these provisions. You just have a few weeks left in the year to make purchases!
