"As I sit here writing my goals for 2025, this graphic serves as a great visual reminder that success, and all the things that come with it, is a product of:
• Sacrifice – Are you willing to forgo some good today for an even better tomorrow?
• Staying healthy – Mentally and physically.
• Good habits – Your body is a temple.
• Focus – Don’t take your eye off the ball.
• Disappointment – In yourself and others. Let it go.
• Growth mindset – If you’re not growing, you’re….?
• Persistence – Get up again and again…especially when you don’t want to.
• Daily goals – Write them down on a sticky note and check them off if you need to.
• Meeting targets – Gives you something measurable to track progress.
• Expenses – Financial and non-financial.
• Time management – “No” is a full sentence.
• Determination – “No” is a full sentence, just not here. 😊
• Tears – I’m not a doctor, but I’ve read that crying releases endorphins that soothe physical and mental pain.
• Sleepless nights – Hopefully, not too many, but yes, they happen.
• Rejections – It hurts, but it’s OK not to be the right advisor (in my world) or solution for someone or something.
If you fell short of what you wanted to achieve in 2024….it’s a new year. Choose the mindset to get up, write new goals for yourself, and do the work to achieve them. And don’t forget to reward yourself and celebrate the milestones and successes along the way.
