Giving back is at the heart 🦩♥️ of what we do, and there’s nothing quite like seeing community support come full circle.

I’m thrilled to share that on behalf of our WIFS West Florida chapter, Melissa Robinson and I had the honor of presenting a $2,500 check from our Gala fundraising proceeds to Fairy Godfather's! 🧚🏼‍♀️🧚🏼‍♀️

Here is why this moment means so much to us:
• Women in Insurance & Financial Services: Our West Florida chapter is dedicated to attracting, developing, and advancing women in the financial services industry. Through mentorship, education, and community outreach, we empower women to succeed and give back to the communities we serve.
• My Fairy Godfathers Foundation: This incredible non-profit organization provides critical support, hope, and resources to local individuals and families facing life-altering challenges, including granting wishes and offering practical aid during times of need.

A Personal Connection 💗
This cause hits incredibly close to home for our chapter. When Melissa was serving as our chapter President, she faced her own journey with breast cancer. During that difficult season, Fairy Godfather's stepped up to provide her with a wig—a gesture that brought comfort, dignity, and confidence when she needed it most.

Seeing our current efforts directly honor a cause that supported one of our own leaders during her fight makes this donation deeply meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and donated to our GALA to make this possible. Together, we are stronger! 💪✨

Attendees enjoyed an evening of networking, refreshments, and personalized styling guidance from Nordstrom's team, reinforcing how personal brand and presentation can support women in every stage of their careers.

Experiences like this reflect the heart of WIFS-building community, supporting one another's growth, and creating spaces where women in financial services can connect beyond the workplace.
