🎉 As we wrap up our Get to Know DLG series, we truly believe we saved the best for last… because none of this would exist without one incredible decision made 40 years ago TODAY. 🙌
Today, we celebrate Galen, who founded this business 40 years ago with a vision rooted in faith, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve others. 💙 What started as an idea has grown into something so much bigger, impacting countless families, building lasting relationships, and creating a legacy that continues to grow every single day.
Over the past four decades, Galen has not only built a successful business, but has also shaped a culture of trust, compassion, and doing what’s right, no matter the cost. His leadership has influenced generations, mentored so many along the way, and made a meaningful difference in both our community and the lives of those we serve. 🌟
Throughout his career, Galen has consistently performed at a high level, including being a longtime New York Life Chairman’s Council member (typically representing the top 3-4% of agents) and is a 2026 MDRT Top of the Table member, an honor achieved by a very small percentage of financial professionals. 📈
Beyond the business, Galen and his wife, Julie, have built a beautiful life together and raised their family, including their daughter Melissa (owner of West Side Salon right next door 💇♀️) and their son Daniel, who, along with his wife Whitney, has the privilege of working alongside Galen each day. He’s also proudly known as “Poppy” to his four grandchildren, Carson, Gage, Corban, and Abram, a role he deeply cherishes. ❤️
From clients who became lifelong friends, to team members who found purpose and direction, Galen’s impact goes far beyond business. It’s personal, lasting, and inspiring. And if the last 40 years are any indication, his legacy of leadership and influence will continue to be felt for years to come. 🚀
