One volunteer program. Several ways to serve.

VITA is building its 2027 volunteer team, and we’re looking for people with all different levels of experience.

Opportunities include:

Greeters — Welcome taxpayers and provide intake paperwork.

Spanish Interpreters — Help Spanish-speaking taxpayers communicate with our team.

Starters — Assist with data entry at our Coatesville location.

Tax Preparers — Prepare tax returns with FREE training provided.

Site Coordinators — Help keep our volunteer sites running smoothly.

Choose the role, location, schedule, and number of hours that work for you.

Do you speak Spanish and English?

Your language skills could help someone in your community access the tax assistance they need.

VITA is looking for Spanish-speaking volunteers for the 2027 tax season.

Interpreters can volunteer on site or join a call list to assist volunteers and taxpayers through three-way calls when interpretation is needed.

No tax preparation experience is required.

Sometimes serving your community simply means using a skill you already have.

Our first Virtual Volunteer Information Session is TOMORROW!

Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? VITA is looking for volunteers for the upcoming tax season, and no prior tax experience is required. We have roles such as Greeters and Intake Specialists who do not process returns. There's something to do for everyone!

Volunteers receive FREE training, IRS certification, and ongoing support to help local individuals and families prepare their taxes.

Join us on Zoom to learn more about the volunteer opportunities, training, certification, time commitment, and how to get started.
