We're pleased to welcome Emma Schulte back to WK as a full-time Tax Associate in our Columbia office.

After serving as a Spring 2026 Tax Intern, Emma has joined the firm full time and is continuing to build on the relationships, experience and knowledge she gained during her internship.

🍦 Building a business while building a career takes a special kind of determination.

WK Tax Associate Kate Ashton and her husband, Conner, were recently featured by the University of Missouri for their entrepreneurial journey as owners of Ollie B's Honey Ice Cream.

What began as an unexpected opportunity quickly became a family venture rooted in hard work, community and a willingness to embrace something new.

We're proud to see Kate recognized and grateful to have her talents as part of the WK team.

🎉 Congratulations to WK Tax Associate Emily Earl, CPA on earning her CPA designation!

The CPA journey requires discipline, persistence and an incredible amount of hard work, and we’re excited to celebrate this important milestone with Emily.

Reflecting on the experience, Emily shared:

“From celebrating wins with everyone, staying motivated by our CPA Support Group and sharing experiences with others in the process, WK helped me feel very supported and encouraged while I was going through the CPA process. I felt that people from every level in the firm were invested in my success and genuinely cared about how I was doing along the way. WK offers a lot of assistance in helping balance work and studying, which made the process less overwhelming.”
