Happy Flag Day! This holiday commemorates the adoption of our revered flag, Old Glory, by the Second Continental Congress on this very day in 1777. Our national flag is a testament to the spirit, aspirations, and character of our leaders past and present.

Flag Day also offers us an opportunity to highlight the Freedom Wealth flag. First, the five stripes represent our five core values: Faith & Family First, Radical Honesty, Extreme Accountability, Attitude of Gratitude, and Semper Providus. The seven small stars in the canton signify the seven components of our Freedom FORMula. Finally, the heartbeat of our firm is the central star: our clients, the “why” behind what we do and what guides every step we take.

Today is National Donut Day! Thank you to Ellianna’s Donut Shop for preparing this excellent array of treats! 🍩

If you weren’t already aware, this holiday was started in 1938 by the Salvation Army as a way to recognize the female soldiers who provided donuts to soldiers on the frontlines during WWI.

I just earned my CEPA - Certified Exit Planning Advisor. ✅

Not because I needed another designation but because my clients deserve an advisor who never stops learning.

The numbers tell the story:

80% of a business owner's net worth is typically locked inside their business. Yet fewer than 20% have a written plan for how they'll actually get it out.

And that gap is exactly what this program has taught me to help close.

Most owners are so focused on running their business that they've never been shown the full picture - what their company is actually worth in today's market, how much value they're leaving on the table, and what it would take to exit on their own terms instead of being forced out.
