Dealing with your daily finances can be a challenge, but changing your daily habits can take your finances to the next level.

If you have to save $10, $20, or $25 per paycheck, that’s better than nothing! Every financial goal starts with a plan, followed by a decision and, finally, ACTION.

Learn the difference! An investment SHOULD NOT be incorporated in a Life Insurance!

Denise wrote in after discovering something heartbreaking.

When she graduated from nursing school in 1992, she was sold what she believed was a "savings account for nurses."

It wasn't. It was a whole life insurance policy.

She faithfully paid $75 a month for 27 years believing she was building retirement savings.

Here's the lesson I want everyone to hear:
Life insurance is life insurance. Investments are investments. They should never, ever, ever be combined.

If someone is trying to sell you an insurance policy as your retirement plan or investment strategy, stop.

Understand exactly what you're buying before you sign anything.

Story time...

My grandfather couldn’t read. My grandmother didn’t finish high school. My mother graduated from high school and attended college to study Banking and Finance, but she wasn’t able to finish. Despite of they always desired better for me.

By the grace of the one true and living God, I became the second person in my immediate family to earn a bachelor's degree and the first to earn a master's degree. I don't take that blessing lightly.

I truly believe I'm living in the prayers, sacrifices, and perseverance of those who came before me.

That's why I'm so passionate about teaching financial literacy. Too many people struggle—not because they aren't capable, but because they were never taught how money works.

Financial literacy is about more than budgeting. It's about making informed decisions, protecting what you've built, creating opportunities, and building a legacy for future generations.

I believe that when faith, education, and discipline come together, they can change the trajectory of a family's future.

If God did it for me, He can do it for you too. Keep learning. Stay disciplined. Trust the Lord through the process.
