We are just days away from another possible government shutdown, as the temporary funding plan passed by Congress is set to expire on February 8th.

How will this impact the IRS and refunds?

While the IRS has not issued a statement to address the taxpayer impact, it's believed the IRS will continue to accept returns, but will not issue refunds in the event of another government shutdown.
