Cities governments have been allowed to file Bankruptcy for some time. In CA alone Vallejo, Stockton, Riverside. I have been saying that State governments will soon follow. Now it looks like its here.
I have sat with many people to talk with them about their retirement only to have them say no I am good I have a State pension. NEVER depend on someone else government or otherwise to take care of you in retirement. It up to us!
