Last night was a little surreal. 🩷
To see what SJCPA has accomplished is pretty darn cool for a little Willis, Texas girl like me!
Last night, we celebrated SJCPA being named one of America’s fastest-growing private companies at the Inc. 5000 Gala! And after 15 years of marriage, I FINALLY got to see Phil in a tux! 😍 I think we clean up pretty nice! 🥂
But here’s what I really want to say.
To our clients: YOU are the reason we do what we do. Every person, family, business and dream you’ve trusted us with. Every Roadmap we’ve created and every dollar we’ve helped keep in your pocket instead of sending to the IRS.
Our mission is bigger than tax returns. It’s about helping you BUILD your dreams, PROTECT your assets and GROW your legacy. This award belongs to YOU!
To our team: WOW. I’m not sure how many CPAs could be OUT of the office ON a major tax deadline day and know their team had it handled. But I did. And THEY DID!
While I attended the Inc. 5000 Leadership Conference, our team had SJCPA’s back and carried us across the finish line. I didn’t have to be there to make it happen. THAT is what we’ve been building!
Our leaders are incredible, and the culture we’ve fiercely fought to build is one of my proudest accomplishments. Our people show up, step up and take care of each other and our clients. I’m incredibly grateful and proud!
And to Phil Jones, the stud in the tux. ❤️
He’s the calm to my chaos and the steady hand behind my crazy dreams. He takes care of our kiddos, home, pups and everything in between, always with a smile. He gives me the freedom to chase these big goals. I couldn’t do this without him.
Growth isn’t always pretty. There have been mistakes, setbacks and hard lessons. But every experience has shaped who we are today.
I’m proud of what we’ve built, but even more proud of WHO we’ve built it with.
Dream big. Work hard. Love your people. Never forget who helped you get there.
