Do you have a Solo 401(k)?

Even if you don't have any full-time employees, other than yourself & a spouse, you can contribute up to $72K for 2026.

That's money off your taxable income, reducing the amount of income taxes you owe!

And if you are ages 60-63, you can add an additional $11,250 to that.

Best ways to save money in today’s economy:

- Build a 3–6 month emergency fund and automate transfers
- Track spending for 2 weeks to find easy cuts (subscriptions, takeout)
- Refinance/high-interest debt and prioritize high-rate balances
- Use a high-yield savings account for short-term goals
- Negotiate bills (internet, insurance) and switch providers when it pays
- Meal plan, bulk cook, and shop with a list to avoid impulse buys
- Add a small side hustle or sell unused items to boost savings

Which one will you try first?

Business Owners!

How are you documenting your business expenses?

The IRS doesn't have to accept your deductions. You have the burden of proof.

Bank statements are not enough when you use cash to purchase business items. You need a paper trail! You need detailed documentation!

The IRS assumes that all deposits are income and expenses are personal so how are you going to prove otherwise?

That's the power of business meetings and receipts. The IRS requires the amount spent, date and place of the expense, purpose, and relationship of anyone involved.

Do you have a paper trail?
