2022 tax filing season begins Jan. 24

The Internal Revenue Service announced that the nation's tax season will start on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022, when the tax agency will begin accepting and processing 2021 tax year returns.

For those who received unemployment benefits last year and have already filed their 2020 Form 1040 or 1040-SR, there is no need to file an amended return (Form 1040-X) to figure the amount of unemployment compensation to exclude. The IRS will refigure the taxes using the excluded unemployment compensation amount and adjust the taxpayer's account accordingly. The IRS will send any additional refund, if applicable.

In the meantime, we are filing and processing Refund Advance Loans of up to $6,000.00

2020 Tax Season Welcome Back Letter

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year! We hope the New Year finds you all in good health and that you have all had a wonderful Holiday Season.
Tax Season is here once more. We are sure you are compiling your Income Tax Information so that together we can prepare your 2020 Income Tax Return in the most efficient manner possible. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call Sam or Wilson at the numbers below.
For those of you that will be filing business returns please remember that you must have receipts to claim your deductions. Credit card statement are not enough on their own to support a deduction. We do not need to see the receipts but you have to be able to produce them in an audit, should your account be picked for an accuracy check. We recommend that you also bring a paper copy of your list of expenses. We will need a copy for our records. (The Tax Law is very clear on this issue. A paper copy is required by Law)
