If you haven't received the letter from IRS stating how much you got in advanced child tax credit, you will need to go to this portal to get the exact amount. You must create an account with the IRS.

Check if you're enrolled, manage your payment information and unenroll from advance payments of the 2021 Child Tax Credit.

2021 tax filing season begins tomorrow. Please make sure that you have all the paperwork necessary to file your taxes in order to avoid a delay.

If you have children you need Letter 6419 that will be mailed out by the IRS telling you how much you received in advanced child care credit.

IRS will begin accepting income tax returns for 2021 on January 24, 2022. Things you will need to complete your return:

- amount of 3rd stimulus (IRS will mail out letter)
- amount of child tax credit received
-all W2s, all 1099s

I will begin taking appointments next week on Tuesday/Thursdays after 6pm, then Saturday starting at 9am. IRS will not begin accepting Tax returns until Feb. 12, and more than likely refunds won’t be sent until a week or two afterwards.
