Here are some last minute tax planning tips that you can use that could help you owe the government less money for the upcoming tax season.
Donations are always great this time of year and also a great tax deduction. The stock is a play that you can use ONLY if it makes sense. For instance if you made a lot of capital gains this year and which to offset it by showing a loss as well. I would not recommend doing this if you expect the stock to bounce back in the near future. For businesses delay the invoices a little bit until the ending of December that way you can boost your revenue for next year as well as delay the tax liability on it. Energy efficient purchases are great for the planet and your taxes!

The IRS is OPENED and have now started processing Tax Returns for 2021 tax year!!!!

Here is what you should know:

IRS begins accepting E-filing on Jan 24,2022

Returns with Earned Income Credit, Child Tax Credit and Education Credits will not be processed until the middle of February, so refunds for those returns will not be issued until first week of March.
