We are approaching the end of 2024, and it’s hard to believe the year is almost over! Is it just us, or do the years keep getting faster?
The end of the year is a great time to reflect on what financial goals you’ve accomplished for the year, what needs works, and what needs to be addressed.
For example, the market had a stellar year 🚀
However, just because the market trended higher, doesn’t mean your portfolio is well positioned for your situation. It could be the exact opposite! Making sure your portfolio and financial plan is optimally designed for your goals is going to help mitigate emotions during the eventual decline we will experience 📉
For those entering retirement, or even for those still in the accumulation phase of life, consistently updating your budget is crucial to success because you want an accurate reflection of your expenses. Prices for groceries, dining, gas, entertainment, streaming services, and other variable expenses are constantly increasing. This is a good time to update those numbers, especially given prices are still high (and staying stubborn. Thanks inflation).
Let’s enter 2025 strong, and punch away any bad habits for the New Year! 🤛
