Dave at Madyline’s wine bar has outdone himself again.
New Cajun crawfish dip is a must have. Just added to the menu Wednesday and almost no way to explain the great flavor he delivers. Thanks again Dave. You never cease to amaze me in the flavors that you can provide in a dish.

The Epic Rockworks Mural Challenge is honored to announce three of Sarasota’s most respected voices in the art community will be serving as official judges for the Epic Rockworks Mural Challenge.

Christina Baril, Curator & Director of Exhibitions at the Art Center of Sarasota. Robin Holl, Cultural Curator at the Art Ovation Hotel. Clifford McDonald, artist & founder of Art 4 Change.

These individuals and their organizations have dedicated themselves to elevating art and culture in Sarasota and will be lending their expertise and talent to a contest that is giving local artists a 300-foot public canvas on one of Sarasota’s most visible roads.

This highly respected panel of judges and YOU the Sarasota community will be voting to determine the winners. Come see the art and vote on the work of your favorite artist before July 15th. Winners will be announced July 16th.

This is a professionally judged and community based public art event.

Paint Day is Saturday July 11th. Open to the public. Come watch it happen live.

Four artists. Four chapters. One 300-foot wall on Tuttle Avenue. Paint Day is July 11th and it is open to the public — come watch it happen live.

To every artist who submitted — thank you. To everyone who voted — you made this happen. This contest existed because Sarasota showed up, and Sarasota delivered.

The story is not over. The murals go up on Saturday. Then the rock covers them forever.
