Individual Tax Clients -

Our extension letters have been mailed out. If your information is not dropped off by March 25, 2026, we will automatically file an extension on your behalf for a fee of $125.00.

These extensions extend the filing but NOT the payment. If you believe you owe money, please reach out to us as soon as possible.

If you received this letter, but your information has already been dropped off prior to March 25th, please disregard.

If you will no longer be needing our services please reach out as soon as possible so we know not to file an extension for you.

As always, we are truly thankful for each and every one of you, and look forward to doing business with you as we continue through tax season.

One of our most asked questions during tax season is if we require a consultation to complete your taxes, and the answer is no.

Although we love to interact with our clients, we have fully digital or drop off options, that allow for a quick and seamless process for you.

All you have to do is work with our administrative team to complete your intake information, and they will take it from there.

If there is a government shut down, here is how IRS services will be impacted:

Key aspects of the IRS contingency plan:

Continuation of Funded Activities: Operations funded by multi-year or no-year appropriations, such as those provided by the Inflation Reduction Act, would continue. This ensures that many of the IRS's modernization and enforcement activities would not be halted.

Exempt and Excepted Personnel: A significant portion of the IRS workforce would be designated as "exempt" or "excepted" and would continue to work. The exact number of retained employees would vary depending on whether it is filing season.

Essential Services: Activities deemed essential for the safety of human life and the protection of property would continue. This includes the processing of tax returns that contain remittances and the safeguarding of taxpayer data and federal property.

Suspension of Non-Essential Operations: Many routine, non-essential operations would be suspended. This could include the issuance of refunds, examination and collection activities, and taxpayer services such as answering telephone calls.

Orderly Shutdown: The plan provides for an orderly shutdown of operations, with employees performing tasks to secure records and government property before being furloughed.

The primary goal of the contingency plan is to ensure the continuation of mission-essential functions while complying with the law during a lapse in appropriations. The plan is updated annually in accordance with guidance from the Office of Management and Budget and the Department of the Treasury.
