My Dad (Richard B. Wagner)'s inspiration in his work (hint, it was his mother)

MoneyMind Bender$40 ~ We all have our reasons for doing what we do. Dick Wagner’s reason for becoming a Financial Planner was very personal. In honor of the passing of his mother last week, I’d like to share this story with you.

Dad and his father were building a new deck on sunny OH afternoon when my grandfather had a sudden heart attack and died that day. 😔

With three grieving children to raise alone and no work experience, Grandma (also grieving herself) needed more money than she was in a good position to earn. Thankfully, there was life insurance money, and it financially saved the family!

Though everything changed in almost every way, they kept their home and remained solvent. The oldest of the kids, Dad never lost touch with the priceless value this money provided. 🦋
