Sandra earned $10K tutoring last year.
Finding it takes her a Saturday.
She’s an elementary school teacher. Evenings and weekends, she tutors kids in reading and math.
Parents pay her on Venmo. So does her nephew, whenever he owes her for pizza.
She tracks it all in a Google Doc. Updating it once a year at tax time.
Every March, she spends a Saturday scrolling through a year of old transactions, trying to figure out which payment was a second grader’s reading lesson and which was a large pepperoni.
Her spreadsheet is fine. What’s broken is the year between updates.
Twenty minutes a month would fix it.
She remembers the pizza. Everything else is a guess.
