⚠️ Time Is Running Out—Get Tax Ready Now!

📅 April 15, 2026 is the deadline to file your taxes or request an extension—and the last day to claim your 2022 refund.

💡 Quick reminders:
• An extension gives you more time to file, not more time to pay.
• Any balance owed is still due by Tax Day to avoid penalties and interest.
• Filing late can cost more than paying late—so don’t skip the extension if you need it.

Haven’t filed 2022 yet?
This is your last chance to claim any refund or credits you’re owed—after this, it’s gone for good.

Can’t pay in full?
Payment plans are available and can help you stay compliant while managing what you owe.

Don’t wait until it’s too late—reach out today for help filing, requesting an extension, or exploring your options!

Tax Day Deadline Approaching ‼️

🚫 TAX MYTH: Filing an extension means you don’t have to pay.
✅ TRUTH: An extension gives you more time to FILE— NOT more time to PAY.

If you owe taxes, payment is still due by Tax Day to avoid penalties and interest. The late payment penalty is typically smaller than the late filing penalty—but both can add up quickly.

If you can’t file on time, filing an extension is still a smart move—it helps you avoid the larger late filing penalty, even if you can’t pay in full yet.

Setting up an installment agreement can also help—while interest still applies, being on a payment plan may reduce interest and keep you in better standing with the IRS.

🤝 Need help figuring out the best option for your situation? Reach out—we’re here to help you stay compliant and minimize penalties!

Even if you owed nothing last year, filing ensures you get any credits or refunds you qualify for.

🚨 IMPORTANT TAX REMINDER: Don’t Forget Your Form 1095-A!

If you had health insurance through the Marketplace in 2025, don’t forget to check for Form 1095-A before filing your taxes. This form is important and required to complete your tax return accurately.

⚠️ Why it matters:
• Not reporting your 1095-A can cause your tax return to be rejected
• It may result in an incorrect refund or balance due
• The Internal Revenue Service requires this form to reconcile any Advance Premium Tax Credit received

Before filing, log in to your Marketplace account to download your 1095-A if you haven’t received it by mail. If you need assistance accessing your form, contact the Marketplace directly.

For more information, visit: How to Use Form 1095-A, Health Insurance Marketplace® Statement. https://www.healthcare.gov/tax-form-1095/

Don’t delay — make sure your return is complete and accurate!

📢 Refund Update for Taxpayers Who Already Filed

For taxpayers who have already filed and claimed the Child Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit — good news! Refunds should start being released soon.

By law, the Internal Revenue Service holds refunds that include certain refundable credits until mid-February, and that timeframe is now approaching.

What this means for you:

⏳ The hold period is ending, and refunds should begin processing soon
💳 Direct deposits will start hitting bank accounts shortly after release
📲 “Where’s My Refund?” should begin showing updated statuses
🗓 Many taxpayers can begin expecting their refunds soon (timing will depend on your bank)

There is nothing additional you need to do at this time — we’re simply waiting on the IRS to finalize the release.

If you have questions about your specific refund, feel free to message me! 🙂✨
