Qualifying tip income may no longer be subject to federal income tax.

If you work in a tipped industry — restaurants, hospitality, salons, delivery services, etc. — this could significantly reduce your federal tax liability.

• Payroll reporting requirements still apply
• Social Security and Medicare rules may differ
• State tax treatment may not match federal rules

💥No Federal Income Tax on Overtime? Here’s What You Need to Know

Recent legislation allows qualifying overtime pay to be excluded from federal income tax for eligible workers.

What this means:
👉Overtime hours may increase your take-home pay
👉Regular wages are still taxable
👉Social Security and Medicare taxes still apply
👉State tax treatment may differ

Important: This does not mean overtime is completely tax-free. Payroll withholding may not immediately reflect the full benefit, and individual situations can vary.
