I have worked in the accounting field for 25 years in public accounting as well as in industry. Some of the industries I have worked for were oil and gas, structural engineering, architecture, and inventory service. My public accounting experience has been the most rewarding allowing me to connect with various service industries such as the medical field, the legal profession, and social organizat

ions. I have also worked with not for profit organizations and enjoyed assisting them with their efforts to give back to our community in many areas. All of my experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with and build long lasting business relationships with my clients. Some of those relationships have led to rewarding friendships!! I chose the accounting profession because of its integrity and good moral character it is based on. My heart goes out to everyone affected by the disasters caused by hurricane Harvey. Please know that the IRS has offered tax relief to individuals and businesses. If you are required to make estimated tax payments for 2017, please know the deadline for your Sept 15, 2017 and January 16, 2018 payments are extended to January 31, 2018. The filing of extended returns due October 16, 2017 for individuals and September 15, 2017 for businesses has been extended to January 31, 2018. I will post the link to the IRS website that addresses the Hurricane Harvey disaster relief efforts offered by the IRS. In my morning devotion, I ran across this scripture and I thought of you. Ps 119:133 Steady my footsteps according to your promise, and let no iniquity rule over me. We all share one thing in common....we all have iniquities of one kind or the other. One of my biggest ones is procrastination. Pray this scripture over you iniquities today.
