Let's introduce Lisa, who joined our team last November and has been diligently working behind the scenes as a Tax Preparer, supporting me, and alongside Nova, organizing our Business Systems and maintaining compliance procedures. Notably, she is also my sister-in-law.
Lisa Rondeau is a highly experienced finance professional, boasting an impressive educational background in financial management and general accounting. She holds two bachelor's degrees from Johnson & Wales University, providing a solid foundation for her extensive career in key roles within both the private and public sectors. Throughout her career, Lisa has consistently showcased expertise in financial analysis, regulatory compliance, and business development.
Lisa commenced her career as a bank reconciler at Bank of America and CVS, where she honed her skills in financial accuracy and reporting, gaining a deep understanding of banking operations and the importance of precision in financial management. This early experience distinguished her among her peers, showcasing her exceptional qualities.
Lisa subsequently transitioned into public service, joining the State of Rhode Island's Division of Taxation Compliance Department as a revenue officer. In this role, she played a pivotal part in enforcing tax regulations and resolving intricate compliance issues, contributing significantly to the state's fiscal integrity. Her analytical prowess and collaborative approach empowered businesses to navigate tax discrepancies with confidence.
Later, as a Business Analyst within the same division, Lisa spearheaded initiatives to develop state tax forms and manage state-funded tax credit programs. She applied strategic thinking to streamline processes, enhancing the taxpayer experience. Her contributions have had a lasting impact on the state's administration of tax credits, benefiting both government operations and Rhode Island residents.
Throughout her career, Lisa has earned recognition for her proactive problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and dedication to public service. She remains committed to ongoing professional development, staying abreast of evolving trends in finance and taxation.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Lisa enjoys life with her husband and their toddler, striking a balance between her professional drive and deep commitment to family.
