John Fisher at Alera Group Wealth Services

John Fisher at Alera Group Wealth Services I work with families/businesses who want to increase/protect their wealth. Each relationship begins with an examination of the client's values and goals.

I believe people make their best financial decisions within the context of a comprehensive strategy. John is a Financial Planner with Alera Group Wealth Services, assisting both individual and business clients in all areas of financial planning (investments, insurance, college funding, estate planning, retirement and tax strategies). How are companies affording GLP-1 coverage? | Employee Benefit News

As consumers are clamoring for access to pricey GLP-1 drugs for weight loss, employers are feeling the need to modify or update their plans to accommodate new demands and costs. Of the businesses covering GLP-1s for obesity, a majority (53%) require prerequisites to the coverage or additional steps such as case management or a lifestyle or weight-loss program before or during coverage.

Look for more on how businesses are handling this expensive component of healthcare, as well as other aspects of employee benefits, in Alera Group's "2025 Healthcare and Employee Benefits Benchmarking Report," scheduled for release on June 26.
