Matthew is a Hilo born and raised financial professional dedicated to helping families build a more secure and prosperous future. Matthew's career began in the automotive industry, where he started as a salesperson and worked his way up through management to become dealer principal of a used car dealership, gaining nearly fifteen years of hands-on experience along the way. He also brings a background as an investigator, giving him valuable regulatory experience and a sharp eye for detail and compliance.
Drawing on this diverse foundation, Matthew transitioned into finance with a passion for guiding families toward smarter financial decisions and long-term stability. His experience in sales, leadership, and regulatory investigation gives him a well-rounded perspective on building trust, solving problems, and protecting client interests.
Rooted in the values of his island upbringing, Matthew approaches every client relationship with integrity, patience, and genuine care, believing that financial planning is about giving families the confidence to pursue their goals and build a lasting legacy.
Outside of work, Matthew stays active in his community and enjoys motorsports, fishing, and volunteering.
