Explore The Trades has been helping close the skilled-trades talent gap for more than 20 years, and now that mission is headed to public TV!

The Minnesota-based nonprofit is helping bring plumbing, HVAC and electrical careers back into classrooms. They will be featured in an upcoming segment of “All Access,” hosted by Andy Garcia.

Explore The Trades’ poster program has reached more than 1.3 million students since 2021 and is in over 3,400 school districts. Its Skills Lab grants have reached 53 schools in 21 states.

“The skilled workforce of tomorrow is sitting in classrooms today,” said Kate Cinnamo, Executive Director of Explore The Trades.

Celebrating our clients' wins like they're our own is what partnership is all about, and this week the turn is for Epitel.

The FDA named the first two companies to advance in its READI-Home Innovation Challenge, and Epitel's REMI Neuro Monitoring Home Health Hub is one of them. REMI is a wireless, wearable EEG system that monitors patients at home after a hospital stay, watching for potential seizures, poor sleep and delirium.

In simple terms, patients can recover in the comfort of home while their care team keeps a close eye on their brain health, which can mean fewer trips back to the hospital.

Rondo Community Land Trust’s commitment to its community runs deep: building community wealth and neighborhood stability through community-owned affordable housing and commercial space in St. Paul’s Rondo neighborhood.

Last week, the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal showed what that looks like on Selby Avenue.

When the founders of Golden Thyme, a Rondo gathering place since 2000, were ready to step away, RCLT bought it in 2023 to keep that legacy in the community. Last year it reopened as a New Orleans-inspired restaurant and bar, with a café down the street in the Rondo Exchange.

Every meal does more than fill a table. Revenue helps support the residents living above both spaces, RCLT’s programs, and below-market rent for small businesses in the Rondo Exchange.

“Golden Thyme has always been one of the heartbeats of the community,” said Mikeya Griffin, CEO of Rondo Community Land Trust.

From Minnesota to Massachusetts! So proud of Discover Strength.

What started as a studio in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, opens its first Massachusetts location in Wellesley Square this November.

Congratulations on your entry into the Greater Boston market! The new studio is part of a larger push toward roughly 250 locations across the U.S., building on more than 40 studios already open in 15 states.

It's not too early for Christmas music. It's not too early to plan your 2026 closing.

Work the calendar backward. Year-end close lands in January, but the work that makes it survivable happens now.

Every month you close late in Q4 is a month you reopen in January. What a strong finish actually looks like: September and October closed on time, reconciliations current instead of deferred, one person no longer holding the whole process in their head, and a clean handoff into whatever January asks for.
None of that gets built in December. Three months left in 2026.

Ask your team one question this week: what would make this close easier than last year's? Then go fix that.
