Last week, Nathanael, three of his children, and two siblings took part in the East Lansing Orchestra 75th Anniversary Concert alongside more than 400 musicians and over 90 alumni who returned from across the country.
The evening celebrated a program that has touched thousands of lives over 75 years. During the concert, Nathanael had the opportunity to share how hearing East Lansing string students perform in 2nd grade led him to the cello and has now led to ten people in his family playing string instruments.
It was a joy to reconnect with retired conductor Dorothy McDonald and celebrate 75 years of music, memories, and community through the East Lansing orchestra program.
