Hey! Hey you! The person who hasn't gotten around to making an appointment for your taxes yet! Yeah--you!

It's 10:05am on 3/17/2021, and we have a rescheduling and a sudden empty block of time!

If you're up and about and would like to get your taxes finished so you don't think about it any more, call us here at 715-514-1309. We could get you in as soon as 11am!!!!

Gather your documents (W-2s, any other income, interest, dividends, 1099s, self-employment expenses, property taxes or rent, day care, IRA deductions, Unemployment, HSA and health insurance...) give us a holler at 715-514-1309 and make an appointment!!

Get it done!!!!!! :)

TAX UPDATES FOR 2021:

*** Filing season for 1040 returns will begin February 12 2021.

*** The customary deadline of April 15, 2021 has not changed.

*** You certainly may make an appointment and have your tax return prepared with Harry before February 12, 2021--but be advised it cannot be e-filed with the IRS/State until February 12, 2021 or after.

*** All other usual Tax Return deadlines have not changed at this time.

Yes, it's that time again... :) At this time (pending any IRS changes), the filing season for Individual 1040 taxes for the year of 2020 begins 1/27/2021, and our calendar is looking good--so please feel free to call us and make an appointment with Harry the Taxman!

He is also able to help you prepare your business W-2s, and 1099s.

UPDATE: Here's the Serenity Tax office hours as the pandemic continues to move through.

We continue to follow the CDC recommendations to minimize possible COVID-19 contact.

We will honor all appointments currently on our calendar; if you have an existing appointment, you have the prerogative to attend that appointment or reschedule to a later date. We will be happy to accommodate you, either way.

After April 15, 2020, Serenity Tax office will have open office hours on Monday and Tuesday of each week from 9 am-5 pm.

Also after April 15, 2020, in addition to Mondays and Tuesdays open hours, Harry will be available by appointment M-F. The office phone and answering machine will be monitored daily, so please leave a message so we can contact you at the earliest opportunity.

In regards to the extended July 15, 2020 deadline to file Federal and Wisconsin State tax returns, Harry will begin making appointments for tax preparation on May 1, 2020.

We appreciate your support, and wish that you and yours be safe and healthy.

Tax filing Deadline UPDATE:

It has been confirmed by official letter that both the IRS, and by the Wisconsin Department of Revenue that both Federal and Wisconsin State tax return deadlines are officially bumped forward to a deadline of 7/15/2020.

This means you can focus on your Safer at Home time, homeschooling, and everything else going on at this challenging time, without worrying about your taxes, also.

It also means that you have time to schedule/reschedule your tax appointments.

Serenity Tax will be glad to make your tax return appointment on or after April 6. We are still seeing all you folks with currently scheduled appointments. When those appointments are finished, we will begin scheduling again on April 6th. We will be monitoring our office voicemail daily in case anyone wants to file an extension (which can be done over the telephone).

In the meantime, we are observing the following recommended methods of nontransmission:

We are sanitizing the hard and/or washable surfaces in the offices with a bleach and water solution during the day, and between appointments.
We are still washing our hands for > 20 seconds after being in the restroom (which we always did anyway ;) )
We are using Kleenex or paper towel for all face-touching or random sneezes or coughs, and Kleenex is available to our clients as well,
We are allowing enough time between appointments to facilitate the presence of only one appointment's client/s in the office at any time to facilitate social distance for our clients and our associates and minimize risk of contact.

Serenity Tax began with a firm degree of cleanliness and sanitary integrity because our clients deserve a healthy and pleasant environment. And we realize how much more important this is, to keep us all safer.
