PSA...The past 3.5 weeks I have been fighting a UTI...I thought, Friday morning I woke up at 1:30ish feeling very hot, I took my temp..and it was 103.7, I woke Lee up and he took me to the Hospital...they pulled blood from both arms, p*e test, and CT. The Dr finally came back in the room and said that I had a UTI, 5mm kidney stone and sepsis....Saint Vincent in Birmingham was the only place available. Having a stint put in today and then I can eat and start the first bags of antibiotics for the sepsis. This is the information I have received from Angela.

Please Pray for her, if you know anything about her immune system as it is already horrible this is just a bigger blow for her! We know she will be in the hospital for at least a week. I will be canceling appointments for next week and reschedule for September. We do apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. At this moment Angela’s health is our main concern, so please please Pray! 🙏💖🙏 I will keep everyone updated here. Much Love to our Awesome Clients!

❤️...UPDATE...I am still in the hospital. The doctor thinks that they have most of the infection cleared up. The lab results have not been completed on the cultures to make sure the right antibiotics to use. They don't want to do a mass of antibiotics because of my autoimmune disorder. Once they have that, then plan is to attack the kidney stone. And more than likely spend a few more days to make sure that the infection doesn't come back after the removal. So it looks like another week in the hospital. That is where I am at right now, things could be changed at a blink of an eye. Gilmore and Lee Stephens have been taking turns staying with me right now. They have been very helpful for when I don't things on the floor...lol I know that I have gotten behind in my work and schedule. Just have patience for me and I will be back on track soon. Thank you all for the prayers.

Whew, April 15th is finally over! I made it through another Tax Season. In my 22 years in business, I think this one was the hardest. I did over 1200 tax returns and filed more than 100 extensions. Isabella Stephens had my third grandbaby. Kristina Crozier got a crash course in 1099s and W-2s. Barbara Gilmore and Kristina learned how to split up tax returns to keep things moving. I taught Lee Stephens how to do simple tax returns. And I even pulled Ethel Gilmore Byrd out of retirement for the last 3 days to help me finish up. I'm really hoping to have Isabella back next year and another tax preparer. I'm so proud of how much my office has grown and how professional and customer-satisfying we are. Our booking schedule is completely filled until the 15th. Should you require an extension, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
