Just for clarification, the bill recently passed DOES NOT eliminate the taxability from social security. It does give certain qualifying seniors a temporary extra deduction. Please talk to your tax professional before making any major changes based on a misconception.

The Treasury Department has announced it will not enforce penalties or fines related to the Corporate Transparency Act’s beneficial ownership reporting rule—both under existing deadlines and after upcoming rule changes. Treasury plans to limit the rule to foreign reporting companies only.
