🔹 What is a 1099-K?
A 1099-K is a tax form issued by payment processors to report transactions for goods and services. It does NOT apply to personal payments like splitting rent or sending money to friends.
🔹 Who Will Receive a 1099-K?
For 2024 tax filings, the IRS requires third-party platforms to issue a 1099-K if you receive over $600 in business-related payments. (Previously, the threshold was $20,000 and 200 transactions.)

You may receive a 1099-K from:
