Jason Blankenship, CPA, LLC is seeking a full time CPA, Enrolled Agent or Accounting Manager to join our team. Candidates should be professional, self-motivated, and looking to work in a fun, fast paced office atmosphere that promotes teamwork. Candidates should have a positive attitude, have the ability to clearly communicate with clients and other team members, and be able to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Hours during tax season (January 1- April 15) are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. until Noon or as needed. April 16 – December 31 hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m – 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities would include:
QuickBooks Support (Desktop and Online)
Review Payroll Reports, Sales Tax, and other Monthly Reports
Review and Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Accounting Projects
Prepare & Review Individual & Business Returns including Meeting with Clients
Business Consulting and Setup
Tax Planning
Experience in tax and accounting is required and experience in payroll is preferred but not required depending on other qualifications. Experience with Lacerte Tax Software, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online is a plus, but not required.
