The IRS has put out some tools to help you decide if you want the advanced Child Tax Credit. Please read carefully as the advanced payment will be reconciled with your 2021 tax return.

IR-2021-133, June 24, 2021 — The Treasury Department and the IRS today urged families to take advantage of a special online tool that can help them determine whether they qualify for the Child Tax Credit and the special monthly advance payments beginning on July 15.
