The Social Security Administration announced that users with online accounts created before September 18, 2021, must transition to Login.gov for continued access. This change aims to simplify sign-in and enhance security. What You Need to Do: 1. Sign in to your my Social Security account and, 2. Follow the prompt to transition to Login.gov. Existing Login.gov or ID.me users need not take any action.
