Rate is a powerful thing… OR IS IT??
This scenario puts it best, that a lower interest rate isn’t & shouldn’t always be the be-all, end-all.
Plus, after the madness of interest rates in 2020-2021, a lot of (if not most) lenders now market themselves as “the lowest rate in town”, which, as Bob and Sue found out, can actually be worse for a homebuyer.
Because of this, we put our value in a lot more than a low interest rate. 🙂
